Century San Mateo

This 12-screen, 1,200 seat theater is located in the historic area of Downtown San Mateo.  The architectural theme of this theater is inspired by the historic character of the downtown area.  Additional inspiration came from photographs obtained from the City Archives of an adjacent historic theater that was demolished in the 1980’s.  The project was developed in cooperation with the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Mateo.
